At each of our baseball camps we record statistics for each camper age and post the top 2 in each camp below.  In addition we also track the best all-time scores for all of our camps across the years.

To have your name posted on this page is a great accomplishment.  Welcome to the Bigler Hall of Fame.

Tee for one

One of the most effective ways to practice hitting is to use a batting tee and a bag of wiffle balls. Tee it up and start hacking. The sooner you can hit a wiffle ball cleanly off a tee, the sooner you will become a better hitter. When you hit a wiffle ball off a tee correctly, it acts like a knuckleball. You can hear the air going through the ball. When you don't hit it correctly, you create spin on the ball and it goes all over the place. When the ball spins a lot, make adjustments to correct my swing. It's not the most exciting thing, but it is an essential drill to becoming a better hitter.

How do I register and pay?

Registration and payment is handled directly through our website for your convenience. You can search our available camps by clicking on the following link. Camp Info If a camp session you want is filled you should join our waiting list and we will contact you as openings become available. When you register you should use your email address as your user id and create a unique password only you know. Once registered, you can update your account information, student information, review purchased camps and classes, reschedule camps and classes, cancel camps and classes, and review your Bigler Bucks total.

What are Bigler Bucks?

Bigler Bucks is our customer loyalty program. Bigler Bucks are earned by registering and attending one of our sessions.  Bigler Bucks can be used to attend future camp and can give you a discount off of your next registration. Bigler Bucks are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Bigler Bucks are applied after the camp is completed.  Accumlation of Bigler Bucks started for all camps as of 12/25/2007 and will be available for use as of 3/1/2008.  During checkout you will see your available Bigler Bucks balance that you can choose to apply to your next registration as you wish.  You can only apply all or none of your total available Bigler Bucks as variable amounts are not allowed.  If the total of your Bigler Bucks exceeds the total amount of your purchase than the registration will be free although you will still be required to input payment amount to verify identification.  Any remainder will still be available for future orders.

What is Cancelation Insurance?

Cancelation Insurance allows the customer to get a full refund in the event the student is unable to attend the scheduled session. For a relatively low cost it protects your registration if a vacation or other plans may occur. Your refund can be processed in one of 3 ways. Written check in the amount of the session, credit to your credit card in the amount of the session, or converted to Bigler Bucks for the full amount of the session that can be used to register for a different session that is more convenient.  Cancelations must be made prior to the camp start date as no refunds will be given after that date.

What if I don’t get Cancelation Insurance?

Full payment is due upon each registration and unless special circumstance should apply, cancelation insurance is the only way to get a full refund if the student does not attend the camp. Special circumstances include if a student is unable to attend because of a medical condition, a doctor’s written note should be sent to Bigler Baseball ASAP. The student registration amount will be converted to Bigler Bucks which allows the student the opportunity to attend another session within 24 months or returned via credit or check.

Can I reschedule the session I registered for?

Bigler Baseball does not allow you to reschedule your sessions unless special circumstances allow such as medical conditions or family emergencies.  In the event that you've made a mistake and signed up for the wrong session, please call or email us immediately.   While we cannot guarentee rescheduling based on availability the sooner you contact us the more likely we'll be able to fix mistakes.  If you're worried about making a mistake or not being able to attend one of our sessions, then you should think about purchasing cancelation insurance as this would allow you a full refund prior to the camp start for any reason, no questions asked.

How long have you been doing this?

The Bigler family owned and operated Mike Hegan's Grand Slam which eventually became Field Of Dreams, an indoor baseball and softball facility, in Brookfield, WI for fifteen years before closing in 2000. Hegan's offered camps, clinics, and baseball/softball lessons at their onsite facility teaching thousands of kids how to be better baseball/softball players. In 2006 Bigler Baseball Camps was formed to offer camps and clinics across the state of Wisconsin and upper Midwest.

Who are your coaches?

Bigler Baseball has an A-list of local and national coaches who work at each of our camp locations. We consider our coaches to be our biggest asset. We guarantee that each coach working at one of our sessions is a well-qualified instructor and that they are able to translate their knowledge to the participants in a way they will understand.  Check out our coaches page for a list of our instructors.

What equipment do I need to bring?

We ask that each participant have their own bat if they are in a hitting session, glove if they are in a pitching or fielding session and catcher's equipment if they are in a catching session. Without the above mentioned equipment a camper may not be able to participate in any or all drills as there are times where everyone in a group is performing a drill at the same time.

Those participants registering for a pitching session are also asked to supply their own individual catcher. A catcher may be a parent, sibling, or friend. Any catcher under the age of 18 is asked to bring a catcher's mask to wear and a protective cup. Our coaches cannot substitute for a catcher as they will be busy giving instruction.  This rule applies for both camps and academy sessions unless otherwise specifically stated that a catcher will be provided or is not needed.

Where are your Locations?

We have locations all over SE Wisconsin in order to reach as many students as we can.  When we hold our camps we consider the location of the facility, size of the space, saftey of students and spectators, costs, and availability.  If you know a location that would be perfect for Bigler Baseball let us know.  We're always looking for great learning facilities for our camps and academy classes.
