Bigler Tips
Many ballplayers go up to bat with a less than confident attitude and think in a "balls and strikes" manner. They hope that maybe they will draw a walk and/or hope that the plate umpire does not call them out on strikes.
What they should do is go up to the dish with an, "I'm going to hit the ball hard!" attitude and not think about what the plate umpire may or may not think is a good pitch. I tell players that they don't think "balls and strikes" in batting practice so don't think about them when they go up to hit. If the pitch is something that they think they can drive (within reason of course - it's hard to drive something that's over your head), swing at it!
If you're going to be called out, make the base umpire do it. Putting the ball in play forces the defense to make a play and that's what you always want to do - force the defense to execute correctly. Think about how many times you have seen that not happen!

Academy Note:
Should an academy have just one athlete sign-up for a class, that class will be treated as a, "one-on-one" session and will be one-half hour in length. Class time will begin one-half hour later than the regularly scheduled class start time.

At a Bigler Baseball Camp or Academy you will find quality instruction from top instructors, low player-coach ratios, a professional setting, and people who truly care about each player's development both on the field and in life. We provide high-quality, step-by-step instruction on pitching, catching, hitting and fielding to develop the skills necessary to compete at the level you always knew you could.
From the brand-new player to the prospective major leaguer, every athlete walks away from a Bigler Baseball session with more skill, knowledge and self-confidence - things that will last a lifetime.
Individual, group or team lessons given at the site of your choice!
The following Group and Private instruction prices apply to all aspects of baseball (pitching, hitting, fielding, catching or throwing).
At this time we do offer indoor lessons in Grafton and Waukesha, but if you would like to have a lesson(s) at a different location, you the client are responsible for any and all associated costs for same when applicable.
Private and Group Instruction
- Private - Half-hour - $40
- Private - One Hour - $60
- Group - One Hour - Two Athletes - $40 each athlete
- Group - One Hour - Three / Four Athletes - $30 each athlete
- Group - One Hour - Five / Six Athletes - $25 each athlete
Team Instruction
- Team pricing includes team drills, practice set-up (timings), and/or individual work with athletes.
- Team - Two Hours (minimum) - $75 per Hour (team coaches are encouraged to, and usually assist with, team instruction)
