Our fifth grade daughter attended the Christmas Bigler Baseball Camp at Concordia College. I had no idea how far Concordia was from Brookfield (where we live) until I drove her to camp the first day...

Bigler Tips
Many times younger ballplayers will stand at the plate after hitting a ball and wonder if it is fair or foul. Umpires will never "call" a fair ball but rather will point to fair territory to indicate that a ball is in fact fair. On a foul ball however, umpires will call "Foul!" and spread their arms to show that all play is stopped.

For your convenience, registration and payment is handled directly through our web site. You can search our available camps, academies and clinics by clicking Camp Info. If a session you want is filled, you should join our waiting list and we will contact you as openings become available. When you register, you should use your email address as your user id and create a unique password. Can I reschedule the session I registered for?
Bigler Baseball does not allow you to reschedule your sessions unless special circumstances occur such as medical conditions or family emergencies. In the event that you've made a mistake and signed up for the wrong session, please call or email us immediately. While we cannot guarantee rescheduling based on availability, the sooner you contact us the more likely we'll be able to accomodate your needs.
How long have you been doing this?
The Bigler family was one of three owners and the principle operators of Mike Hegan's Grand Slam which eventually became Field of Dreams. They were involved with this Brookfield, WI based business for fifteen years before closing in 2000. Hegan's offered camps, clinics, and baseball/softball lessons at their facility teaching thousands of kids how to be better baseball/softball players. Bigler Baseball Camps was formed in 2006 offering camps and clinics to baseball and softball players throughout the state. Bigler Sports was formed in 2011 with the goal of providing instruction to young athletes in baseball, fastpitch softball, basketball, football and other sports yet to come.
Who are your coaches?
Bigler Baseball has an impressive list of coaches that work at each of our camps, academies and clinics. We consider our coaches to be our biggest asset. We guarantee that each coach working at one of our sessions is a well-qualified instructor and able to transfer their knowledge to the participants that is easily understood. Check out our coaches page for a listing of just a few of our instructors.
What equipment do I need to bring?
We ask that each participant have their own bat if they are in a hitting session, glove if they are in a pitching or fielding session and catcher's equipment if they are in a catching session. Without the above mentioned equipment, a camper may not be able to participate in any or all drills as there are times where everyone in a group is performing a drill at the same time.
Those participants registering for a pitching session are also asked to supply their own individual catcher. A catcher may be a parent, sibling, or friend. Any catcher under the age of 18 is asked to bring a catcher's mask and a protective cup. Our coaches cannot substitute for a catcher as they will be busy giving instruction. This rule applies for camps only unless otherwise specifically stated that a catcher will be provided or is not needed.
Where are your locations?
We offer camps, academies and clinics in several locations around SE Wisconsin. When we hold our camps we consider the location of the facility, size of the space, safety of students and spectators, costs, and availability. If you know a location that would be perfect for a Bigler Sports camp or academy, please let us know. We're always looking for great places to teach!
